About The Owner

Josh Pridemore started his career cutting men’s hair part time. He enjoyed the art of cutting and did not want to become complacent. Josh did not want the art he loved so much to become monotonous. Eager for more as a career in hair he attended cosmetology school at night. Continuing his education after cosmetology school assisting in a salon and taking advance cutting and color training courses. Josh found his passion for cutting with the Vidal Sassoon training he completed. Combined with Wella and Goldwell color training evolved him into a well rounded hair stylist. Working as a stylist behind the chair he became involved with the education program within the salon. Training new stylists in techniques from courses he attended.

Josh eventually moved to California and worked behind the chair in both California and Arizona. Working on photo shoots, television, and hair shows, eventually landed him the opportunity to work in Asia. After working in Asia for a few months, he was offered a full time position as a stylist in Tokyo, Japan. Josh moved to Tokyo, Japan and began working in a Salon and as an educator and consultant for Y.S. Park Professional.

Josh maintained a select clientele traveling back and forth from Japan for a few years. Eventually moving back to Phoenix, Arizona to work behind the chair and open his own hair salon House Of Pride.

Josh works behind the chair at House Of Pride full time and still consults for Y.S. Park Professional. Continued education and attending training courses around the world keeps him up to date on the ever changing hair trends and techniques. This allows him the growth as a stylist to touch each individual client. Assisting in the beauty of each individual looking their absolute best not only on the outside, but feeling it inside.
